Registering and Logging In to the Broker Portal

Modified on Sun, 27 Sep at 9:16 AM

Purpose

Your Broker Portal account always starts with an invitation. There is no public sign-up page. Whoever set you up (UZIO, your agency, or the broker you work for) triggers a welcome email with a registration link. This article covers registering from that email, logging in, and what to do when the email does not arrive or the link does not work.

Who needs this: new agency users, brokers and account managers.

How you get access

You areWho sets you upThe email you receive
An agency's first userUZIOWelcome to your platform's name! with a Register Now button
A brokerYour agency, or UZIOWelcome to your platform's name! with a Register Now button
An account managerYour agency or a brokerWelcome to your platform's name! with a "click here to complete the registration" link
Anyone asking for a new linkWhoever added youRegister to your platform's name! with a Register Now button

Your platform's name is usually UZIO. If your agency uses a partner-branded platform, the email carries that name instead.

Register

  1. Open the welcome email and click Register Now (or the registration link).
  2. Check the Username. It is pre-filled with the email address you were invited on. Usernames are unique across all of UZIO.
  3. Create a password and confirm it. The on-screen policy tells you what it must contain.
  4. Read and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
  5. Submit the form, then log in with your new username and password.

Instead of a password, you can register with a social sign-in (such as Google or LinkedIn) if your registration page offers it.

Note: If the email address you were invited on already has a UZIO login (for example, you are an employee of a company on UZIO), the link takes you to the login page instead. Log in with the credentials you already have. Your broker access is added to that same account, so you never register twice.

  1. Go to your UZIO login page and choose Broker.
  2. Enter your username (your email address) and password, or use a social sign-in you have connected.

The first time you log in, you may see a short welcome page. Continue to reach your client list.

To add a second way to sign in, such as a Google account, see Updating Your Broker Profile, Username and Password.

Common problems

Why haven't I received my welcome email?

  1. Check spam, junk and any quarantine your mail filter keeps. Search for Welcome to or Register to followed by your platform's name.
  2. Confirm the address. The invitation goes to the email on your broker record, not to any other address you use.
  3. Ask for a resend from whoever added you. An agency can use Send Registration Link on your row in its broker or account manager list, and a broker can do the same for the account managers they added. See Adding Brokers to Your Agency and Adding Account Managers.
  4. If you are your agency's first user, UZIO sent your invitation. See Still stuck?.

The link opens the login page instead of a registration form

You already have a UZIO login on that email address. Sign in with it. If you have forgotten the password, use Forgot Password on the login page.

I forgot my password

On the login page, choose Broker, click Forgot Password, and enter your username (the email you registered with). UZIO emails reset instructions. Your agency can also send you a password reset from its broker or account manager list.

The system says my username is not registered

Try the other email addresses you might have registered with. If you have never registered, ask for a registration link (above).

I got an email saying my account was deactivated

The email Your account has been deactivated means your broker account was switched off on the platform. Contact your agency first. If your agency did not request it, contact UZIO Support.

Still stuck?

Please reach out to us at support@uzio.com or call +1-571-601-1752. Send your name, your agency's name, the email address you were invited on, the exact message you see (a screenshot helps), and when the problem started. Never send your password.
