Raising a Support Ticket from UZIO

Modified on Thu, 8 Oct at 6:03 AM

Purpose

You can raise a support ticket with UZIO without leaving the portal. The ticket goes straight to UZIO Support with your account details already attached, so you only need to describe the problem.

Who can do this: employer users signed in to UZIO who have an email address on their login. The support form is not currently available to brokers; brokers can call or email UZIO Support (see Contacting UZIO Support).

Raise a ticket

  1. Click the Help & Support icon, then Contact us > Submit a support ticket. The support form opens.
  2. Choose the ticket type that best matches your question. It sends the ticket to the right UZIO team.
  3. Enter a short subject, up to 255 characters.
  4. Describe the problem in the description. Include:
    • what you were doing, and on which page
    • what you expected to happen, and what happened instead
    • the exact wording of any error message
    • the employee, pay date or pay group involved, if any
  5. Check your name. It is filled in for you from your sign-in, so there is usually nothing to change.
  6. Submit the form.

What UZIO receives

You don't need to add your account details. UZIO attaches them automatically:

  • Your sign-in email address. UZIO Support replies to this address.
  • Your company.
  • Your type of user, such as employer user.

Do not include Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, passwords or API keys in a ticket.

Common problems

"Your account has no email address on file, so a ticket cannot be raised."

UZIO replies to tickets by email, so it needs an email address on your login. Ask your Employer Administrator to check your username. See Viewing and Editing Employee Usernames. In the meantime, email support@uzio.com.

"Subject is required." or "Description is required."

Fill in both fields and submit again. The ticket type is required too.

"Ticket type '…' is not a valid option."

Choose a type from the list again and resubmit. If it keeps happening, email support@uzio.com.
