Purpose
Route Data Sync keeps your UZIO Schedule in line with the Logistics Portal. When a route cannot be applied to the Schedule, or a shift no longer matches its route, UZIO lists it on the Schedule Sync Issues page so you can decide what happens.
Use this article when the amber sync-issues banner appears on your Schedule, or when a route you expected is missing from the Schedule.
Applies to: Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) accounts using Route Data Sync, in the Employer Portal. See Setting Up Route Data Sync.
Who can do this: users whose role includes permission to manage employee schedules. With view-only schedule access you can open the page, but you cannot resolve anything.
- You see rows only for employees whose schedule you can access, and you can act only on employees whose schedule you can manage.
- Link the driver to an employee also needs permission to manage Time Tracking.
- Cancel the Time Off is offered only if you can manage that employee's time off.
- A broker working in your account on your behalf can resolve issues the same way you can.
How Route Data Sync handles your shifts
Knowing what the sync does on its own explains most of what lands on this page.
- Route changes update the matching shift. Published shifts stay published.
- Clocked-in shifts are protected. After an employee clocks in, Route Data Sync does not change or delete the shift. A later route change is listed as an issue instead.
- Your time edits are kept. Changing the start or end time of a synced shift in UZIO unlinks it, so later syncs do not overwrite it. Changing only the job, notes or color keeps the link.
- Deleted shifts stay deleted while the route is unchanged. If the route later changes, the shift comes back as a Draft. Moving a synced shift to another date or employee counts as deleting it.
- The sync never publishes or unpublishes a shift. New synced shifts arrive as Draft.
- Some routes are never synced. Routes with no driver assigned in the Logistics Portal, and routes dated before today, are left out.
Synced shifts show a Synced badge on the Schedule, and the shift pop-up says Synced from Logistics Portal.
Steps
1. Open the issues from the Schedule
- Go to the Schedule and choose the dates you want to check.
- If any shifts could not be synced for those dates, an amber banner appears above the Schedule, for example "3 shifts have syncing issues between …". For a single day it reads "… on …". The count covers only the dates you are viewing.
- Click View details.
[Screenshot: amber sync-issues banner above the Schedule with the View details link (use demo data)]
2. Find the rows you need
The Schedule Sync Issues page opens for the same dates. The summary line shows how many shifts have issues and ends "Resolve the issues by opening the details below."
- Issues are grouped by type. Each group shows its count. Click a group to open it. One group is open at a time.
- Each open group starts with a short description of the issue.
- Use the search box ("Search by employee name or employee ID") to narrow every group at once. Each group then shows how many rows match. If nothing matches, click Clear the search.
- Rows show the employee Name, the Date and, depending on the issue, the Logistics Portal Block, the UZIO Shift or Shift, the Time Off, the Termination Effective Date and Details, which says when the shift was deleted, first edited or created, or when a sync was attempted after the employee had already clocked in.
- A +1d badge marks a block or shift that runs past midnight.
- Use Back and Next to page through a long group.

3. Resolve one row
- Click the Action menu on the row.
- Choose Resolve, Ignore the block, Acknowledge or Link the driver to an employee. Which one you see depends on the issue type (see the table below).
- For Resolve, the Resolve pop-up shows your choices. Each choice says what will happen. Pick one and click Apply.
- For Ignore the block and Acknowledge, confirm in the pop-up.
[Screenshot: Resolve pop-up for a synced block conflict, with both choices shown (use demo data)]
4. Resolve many rows at once
- Open the group and tick the rows you want. The checkbox in the header selects every row on the current page.
- The bar above the table shows "N rows selected", with Clear and the group's action: Resolve, Ignore or Acknowledge.
- Click the action, pick a choice if asked, and click Apply.
Bulk selection works within one group at a time. Driver Not Linked to a UZIO Employee has no checkboxes, so link drivers one at a time.
Issue types and your choices
| Issue | What it means | Your choices |
|---|---|---|
| Driver Not Linked to a UZIO Employee | The driver's Transporter ID is not linked to a UZIO employee, so their blocks were not synced. | Link the driver to an employee: in the Link the Driver to an Employee pop-up, check the Logistics Portal Driver, pick the UZIO Employee and click Save. All of that driver's blocks then sync. |
| Synced Block Conflicts with the UZIO Shift | The employee already has a UZIO shift at that time, usually one a manager created. | Replace It with the Synced Block: the UZIO shift is deleted and replaced. This cannot be undone. Keep the UZIO Shift: the UZIO shift stays and the block is not flagged again. |
| Block Assigned to a Terminated Employee | The employee is terminated in UZIO but still has the block in the Logistics Portal. | Ignore the block: the employee stays terminated and the block is set aside. It is not flagged again unless a new block arrives for them. |
| Synced Shift Deleted in UZIO | The synced shift was deleted in UZIO, directly or by moving it to another employee or date. | Restore the Shift: the shift is created again for this employee. Keep It Deleted: nothing changes and the alert is dismissed. |
| Synced Shift Edited in UZIO | The shift's time was changed in UZIO, so it is no longer linked to its block. | Revert to the Synced Block Time: your UZIO edit is overwritten and the shift is linked again. Keep the UZIO Version: your edit stays and the shift is not flagged again. |
| Shift on a Time-Off Day | The employee has a published shift on a day with approved or pending time off. | Cancel the Time Off: approved time off is cancelled, pending time off is rejected, the employee is notified, and the shift stays. Delete the Shift: the shift is deleted and the time off stays. This cannot be undone. Keep Both: nothing changes and it is not flagged again. |
| UZIO-Only Shift with No Matching Block | The shift was created in UZIO and has no block that day, usually an extra shift. | Delete It: the UZIO shift is deleted. This cannot be undone. Keep It as a UZIO-Only Shift: it stays, is not sent to the Logistics Portal and is not flagged again. |
| Block Time Changed after Clock-In | The block time changed after the employee clocked in, so UZIO kept the original shift time. | Acknowledge, after reviewing the timesheet. Update the block in the Logistics Portal if needed. |
| Block Removed after Clock-In | The block was removed after the employee clocked in, so UZIO kept the shift with the time worked. | Acknowledge, after reviewing the timesheet and before running payroll. |
| Unmapped Shifts | The block is in the Logistics Portal but has no shift in UZIO and no other issue, so it would be missing from the Schedule. | Create the Shift: the block is synced again and its shift is created, or it moves to the issue type that applies. Ignore: the block stays out of UZIO and is not flagged again unless it changes in the Logistics Portal. |
Warning: Replace It with the Synced Block, Delete the Shift and Delete It cannot be undone. Check the row before you click Apply.
Expected outcome
- A resolved row leaves the list, and a message confirms what happened, for example "2 shifts resolved with the UZIO version."
- If some rows in a bulk action fail, the message reads "… updated, … could not be updated. The rows that failed are still listed." A failed row is tinted, shows "Could not be applied" with the reason, and its Action menu offers Try again.
- When you clear the last issue, the page shows "Every sync issue is resolved." and a Go to the schedule button. If there were no issues for the dates, it shows "No sync issues for …".
The list updates itself
- An issue leaves the list when its cause goes away. For example, the conflicting shift is deleted from the Schedule, the employee is rehired, or the time off is cancelled.
- If something else now applies, the issue moves to that issue type.
What employees are told
When a published shift is removed, the employee gets a Shift Removed notification. This includes deleting a shift from this page.
- It always appears in the app's notification list.
- It is also sent by email, SMS or push, on the channels your company set for the Shift publish notification.
- Nothing is sent for draft shifts or for shifts that have already ended.
See Schedule Settings and Notifications.
Common problems
"Updated by Route Data Sync - reload."
Route Data Sync changed the shift while you had an older copy open. Reload the page and try again.
"Route Data Sync is running for this company. Try again in a moment."
A sync is in progress. Wait a moment, then use Try again on the row.
"This shift was already resolved."
The row was resolved before your action reached it, for example by a colleague. Reload the page to see the current list.
"The employee is not hired yet on this date."
The block falls before the employee's hire date in UZIO. Check the hire date on their record.
"The driver's Transporter ID is not linked to a UZIO employee."
Link the driver first, under Driver Not Linked to a UZIO Employee, or map them from the Unmapped Delivery Associates tile. See Mapping drivers.
"Shift can not be assigned as it overlaps with the existing shift."
The employee already has a shift at that time. Resolve or remove the other shift first.
"Schedule sync issues could not be loaded."
The page could not load the list. "Your schedule and your shifts are unaffected." Click Try again.
A route is missing from the Schedule, but there is no banner
Check that Enable shift auto-sync is on under Time Tracking Settings > Route Data Sync. Routes with no driver assigned, and routes dated before today, are never synced.
